Hello! I recently completed my PhD in Mathematics at North Carolina State University. My advisor was Seth Sullivant. My research interests are in algebra, geometry and combinatorics, and their applications to statistics and phylogenetics. Starting in October 2021, I will be a Supernumerary Teaching Fellow at St John’s College at the University of Oxford.
August 16-20th, 2021 – Aida Maraj, Miruna-Stefana Sorea and I are organizing a minisymposium on “Algebraic Approaches to Maximum Likelihood Estimation” at the SIAM Conference on Applied Algebraic Geometry, which will be held via Zoom. I will be giving the introductory talk in this session.
